 Hello!

This upcoming week will be my first actively posting anything, so I wanted to give a little bit of information about some of the projects I'm working on/am currently planning.

Some of this may take awhile, but I don't really have a set plan for how long this will take, especially around my full-time job (currently in a bit of a lull), my part-time job (probably the busiest time of the year even though I really just cover a couple shifts every few months) and all of the holiday happenings and gifts (I have too many handmade gifts planned this year, like I really screwed myself over here!)

But I've been wanting to start this blog for awhile, like for years. I kept putting it off because blogging keeps getting less and less popular. 

That's a stupid reason not to do something I think will be fun and challenging.

So I'm not putting it off any longer. I'm not waiting to find the perfect blogging system, or to have enough time to figure out the best posting schedule or how to market myself.

I'm going for it.


Here are some of my upcoming projects:


- An overview of Adam Sandler's sports movies. I haven't decided yet if this will be one master post, or if I'll make this a series. If I do individual posts, I do think they'll each be pretty short, but it will be pretty massive if I have everything in one piece. Not sure that's something any ready wants to slog through!


-I'm working on something I've been mentally referring to as 'Me and the Devil'. Don't want to give anymore away, but this one will take some time.


-I want to put together a list of book recs for people who like Heated Rivalry. There are a lot of MM hockey romances, but they do not all have that same vibe, and there are a lot of sports-related works outside of that niche I personally think are an even better fit. I don't think that will be my only Heated Rivalry-related piece in the next few weeks, but we'll see.


-I've picked out my first piece of media for a series I'm mentally calling "Is it sports?" that I think will be really, really fun.


-I want to complete another basic, bare bones review along the lines of my Blue Box review some time in the next three weeks, and honestly that will probably be easier to complete than some of these other more involved projects.


Also, I have launched, I guess, a Tumblr blog to accompany this one. I'm reposting what I blog here, and also trying to reblog/curate some interesting images, art, posts and articles from others connected to 'real sports' and 'fake sports' media.

I've got some other ideas, but this is what I'm actively working toward right now.

'Heated Rivalry' book recommendations. Yes, this did take a very long time, sorry I am a thorough person!!

I am one of the Heated Rivalry fans who read the books long before the show came to the silver screen. For me, Heated Rivalry just hits. What sports are shown in the book, or more what is shown about the life of an athlete, is realistic. I also like the tension between Ilya and Shane, that ‘rivalry’ aspect, even if Shane and Ilya do not have the vitriol towards one another the outside world expects. I’ve seen a lot of book suggestions for people who like Heated Rivalry that just don’t have that same sizzle, at least in my opinion. Either the sport aspect is not well written, the sex is wack, or the dynamic of the couple just doesn’t line up.  I want that sexy tension! I have worked diligently over the past few weeks to compile my own list of suggestions that I think have some of the same vibes as Heated Rivalry . Heated Rivalry; perfect mix of smut and sport

  There is no way I will encapsulate everything there is to say about Heated Rivalry (2025) . I mean, the show isn’t even completed yet! But right now it absolutely dominates my waking thoughts, as I know it does for so many of you, dear readers. The show, and the book series, are more than worthy of a deep-dive review into every facet, in large part because it is so very different from everything else on television. Heated Rivalry ’s writer and show runner Jacob Tierney has so perfectly stated over and over again that this is a story about sex, and two young men falling in love while having sex. He, along with the main stars Hudson Williams, Connor Storrie and the rest of the cast and crew, do not look down on the source material or The Game Changers series original fan base of mainly women readers. Miracle (2004)

I should write something about Heated Rivalry . Everyone who is anyone who is queer or a purposeful ally to queer sports enthusiasts is writing, or talking, about Heated Rivalry . And anyone who is interested in romance novels, especially those with, as some would say, a lot of chili peppers, are also talking about Heated Rivalry . I will someday talk about Heated Rivalry . I promise. Today, I want to talk about Miracle (2004) . I loved this movie as a kid. I’ve always loved watching sports, especially hockey, and I also love history. Miracle hits that sweet spot.
